Gabe got a SWING SET!!!

Today Gabe finally got his Birthday present...a new SWING SET!!!  He came home from school today and saw his swing set.  He was soooo happy!  He ran right outside and played until we made him come inside for supper!  He loves playing in the "fort" and he really likes it when Mommy and Daddy climb up with him.  He also loves "hanging like a monkey" on the trapeze bar.  I think that his favorite thing to do is being pushed on the "big boy swing", not the baby swing because that is for Neely.  He had a blast today, and I'm sure that there will be many more days like today!!

Flying a Kite!!

Well there is one good thing about having winds that blow 40 MPH on a daily basis...FLYING A KITE!!!  Auntie Becky and Uncle George gave Gabe a kite when they came to visit.  He couldn't wait for it to be warm enough for us to go fly his kite.  Well, it was FINALLY warm enough (at least for one day) and we went outside and he had a BLAST flying his kite!  Thank you Auntie Becky and Uncle George!!

I finally captured a picture of Neely smiling today!  She looks so cute.  She's getting so BIG!  I can't believe that she's already 6 weeks old.  My how time flies...

Bubbles, Bubbles EVERYWHERE!!!

Today Gabe and his bestfriends, Makena and Alexandria, came over to blow bubbles!  They had so much fun chasing after the bubbles and trying to pop them!  They were so cute and really had a good time.  Gabe cried because he had to come inside.  Tonight when he and David were saying their prayers David said see you in the morning and he replied "We can blow bubbles then?"  Isn't that cute!!!  I love my BIG little boy!

Auntie Becky and Uncle George to KC!

David's sister and brother-in-law came to visit us this past week!  They were on their way home to Hibbing from their winter stay in Nevada.  Gabe had so much fun with them.  He kept calling Becky "Uncle" Becky.  It was really funny!!  We loved seeing ya'll, and we'll see you soon in Minneapolis!  

Easter

We had  a wonderful Easter!  Gabe had a great time hunting Easter eggs, even if he had to do it the Thursday before Easter!  That was the only day that was warm enough to be outside!

Neely didn't really get into the hunting or dying of Easter eggs!

This has been a quiet week at the Leathers house!  Gabe left last Saturday with Julz to go to Mississippi!  He is having a blast visiting the farm.  He's been feeding the cows with Pops and yesterday he went to the park with Julz.  Neely and I are going down tomorrow and I can't wait to see him!!! 

We're going to Mississippi for Brittany's wedding and for everyone to meet Neely!
