Thank you God for giving us the BEST Christmas gift of all...Your Son! I'm so guilty of getting caught up in the hustle and bustle of Christmas. Wondering if I've gotten everyone a gift, if they'll like it and finally hoping that everyone is pleased with what Santa brings them. It's amazing how God has His way of reminding me what Christmas is REALLY about. I was putting Gabe to bed one night, and out of the blue he asked me, "mom, do you know the real meaning of Christmas?" I responded with the question all moms LOVE to ask...."Gabe, what does Christmas mean?" He looks me straight in the eyes and says, "it's baby Jesus' birthday!" Amazing! I hope that everyone had a very Merry Christmas! I pray for everyone as we go into 2010, may it be blessed by our Heavenly Father!
As many of you know, we had a VERY white Christmas. It was really beautiful, but it made me nervous because my mom was scheduled to fly in on Christmas night. Luckily she made it...with NO delays. We had such a great time (even if we did get snowed in for 2 days!).
