Merry Christmas with Julz!

When Julz was visiting we decided to take her to see the Plaza Lights....it was just as pretty the second time :) Here are a few "pre-party" pics, a picture from BLANC Burgers and outside enjoying the lights!

Christmas Round 3!

Julz came to KC on Christmas afternoon. We are so glad that she was able to spend Christmas with us, even though we missed everyone else!!!! Maybe next year :) Gabe and Neely were NOT tired of opening presents so on Christmas afternoon we opened presents from Julz and Pops, Uncle Brigg, Aunt KiKi, Ray Ray, Aunt Moc Moc, Katie Jo, Anna Margaret and Kee. As you can see, Gabe and Neely LOVED everything!

Family Christmas Presents

After round 1 comes round 2! Neely got a Hello Kitty stuffed animal from Gabe, and he got army men from her. He also got a Mississippi State t-shirt from me and an Ohio State t-shirt from David. He seemed to really love them. Neely got a doll from her daddy and I. She named her Ms. Halley after her pre-school teacher...so cute! David got a pair of slippers and I got ANOTHER Flip (the one I got last year was stolen when we went to Florida). After round 2 David read Gabe and Neely the Christmas story and A Night Before Christmas. We put out cookies and milk for Santa and carrots for the reindeer and tucked everyone in for a "long winters nap"!

Present opening round 1!

On Christmas Eve night we let the kids open their presents from their Grandma, the Raskovich family, the Koemptgen family and the Roots family. They LOVED everything they got, and I MEAN EVERYTHING!!! Ya'll SPOIL these kids tooooo much :) Thanks for everything!

Christmas Eve

We celebrated Christmas with the Biel's on Christmas Eve. We had yummy food with some great friends. It was also good to see Jordan...she's a freshman at KU and just doesn't make the 20 minute drive home very often :) We are so blessed to have this sweet family in our lives!

Snow on Christmas Eve morning

Merry Christmas!!! It came a slight dusting of snow just in time for Christmas! This made everyone, epecially David, happy! Gabe really wanted to go sledding, but as you can see there just wasn't quite enought snow! Nothing like the 18 inches we got last year, or the massive amounts David's mom and sister are getting right now in northern Minnesota. This was just the start to a wonderful Christmas Eve and Christmas Day!
