My kids LOVE each other!

The other night before bed Gabe and Neely were sitting in her room and I put on Baby Einstein.  They were so cute sitting there that I just had to get some pictures!  As the were sitting there I asked Neely to give Gabe a kiss and this is what happened!

Mall of America

A couple of weeks ago we went to Hibbing (which is about 1 hour south of the Canadian border) for David's 20 YEAR CLASS REUNION!!!  We drove a little more than 1/2 way and spent the night in Minneapolis and the next morning got up and went to the Mall of America.  Gabe and Neely had a good time riding all the fun rides, well....that isn't completely true.  Gabe actually wanted to ride all of the BIG roller coasters, but he's just a little bit to little.  Maybe next year!

 

 

Happy 4th of JULY!!!

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!  I'm so thankful to all of the MANY men and women who have helped give me and my family our many freedoms!  I'm so blessed to live in a country that allows me to make my own choices and worship the one TRUE GOD!!  I'm also thankful to Him for the ultimate sacrifice that allows me to be free from sin!

On the 4th we had some friends and neighbors over for a cookout and some firecrackers!!  The fireworks that we usually watch were cancelled this year because of budget cuts so we invested in some fireworks of our own!  We actually ended up getting more because we were having such a great time.  I think that David was a little nervous because it's illegal to have fireworks in Johnson County, but I think that he realized that we weren't the only ones!!!  The kids had a GREAT time!  Everyone was a little sad when they were all over.  I can't wait til next year!!

4th of July treats for Gabe and Neely's school freinds

Sometimes I get this urge to be creative...this doesn't happen very often, and it's usually not anything spectacular!  This time I decided to make Gabe and Neely's friends at school Star Suckers!  I must say they were SOOOOO easy and turned out really cute!
