Fun trip to Omaha!!

Last week we went to Omaha with David.  We got there pretty early so we were able to take the kids swimming...they had so much fun!  The next day I was going to take them to the Omaha Children's Museum, but it was PACKED!!!  I couldn't even find a parking spot so we had to go the the mall play area instead.  Gabe was so sad that we didn't get the go to the Children's Museum, but once he was able to play at the mall he was fine!  We had a great time, even if it was just for a day!  We'll head back to Nebraska to go to the Zoo in early summer!  P.S.  I know that there aren't a lot of pics of Gabe, but he wouldn't stand still long enough to get any pictures!!!

Oh Happy Day! When HE washed my sin away! Happy Easter!!!

Happy Easter!  I hope that each and everyone of you had a better day than we did.  Let me start by saying the day started beautifully, even if everyone in our house has been fighting a cold.  We got up and went to church, which was wonderful!  They ended the service by singing the song "Oh Happy Day!"  Oh Happy Day!  When HE washed my sin away!  I'll never be the same, I am changed!  Oh what a glorious ay that YOU saved me!  Oh Happy Day!!  I can't imagine the sacrifice our Father made for us when he gave his only son!  It brings tears to my eyes to know that someone loved Me and You that much!  I'm so blessed to walk hand in hand with my Saviour.  I pray for all of those who don't understand that HE is the ONLY WAY!!  So, after church we came home and the Biel's came over.  We had a WONDERFUL Easter dinner...ham, green bean casserole, hashbrown casserole, broccoli casserole, rolls, chocolate chess pie and sweet tea!  YUMMY!!  Well, we just started eating and Gabe decided to through a fit (the first of MANY!!!)  After putting him in timeout he decided to join us only to decided he didn't like anything on his plate, so then he went to take a nap.  I was sure that when he woke up from his nap that he would be a happy little boy again....BOY WAS I WRONG!!!  He sat in time out about 100 times today/night.  I was so very tired of hearing him whine and cry that I finally put him to bed at 7 o'clock!  I know I sound like a horrible mom, or at least that is how I feel :(.  I just keep telling myself that tomorrow is another day...I know that it has to be better!!!!  Please pray for me to have patience with my toddler!!  We'll I wanted to at least put some pictures of today, did I mention how hard it is to get a picture of babies/toddlers who can't sit still (or when they do they make goofy faces!!)!!  I hope that everyone had a wonderful Easter!  Remember...HE HAS RISEN!!!

Gabe's 1st Day of Soccer!!

Today Gabe started soccer.  He had a great time.  His 2 coaches are from England so it's hard to understand what they are saying, but Gabe seemed to think they were really cool!  He started a little slow and didn't seem really sure if he liked it.  After about 5 minutes he decided that it was pretty fun to run around and kick a ball.  I doubt he'll be the next David Beckham, but at least he's having fun!

Disney on Ice

On Saturday we went to Disney on Ice with some of our best friends.  We had such a GREAT time.  Gabe doesn't always like to sit still, but he sat for almost 2 hours.  He LOVED watching all that was going on.  He knew some of the characters, but there were some that he didn't know.  I guess now we'll have to go and get those movies!!  Thanks for a GREAT time Mrs. A and M!

It's Brit Brit Ya'll!!!

On Thursday night I went to the Brittany Spears concert with a big group of girls!  We had a blast.  We had a stretch Escalade...I felt like a high school girl!!  We had such a GREAT time and I can't wait for the next pop star to come back to town so we can do it again!!!
