So, last Friday I made some cupcakes in ice cream cones. I had baked them while the kids were taking a nap and put them on the island to let them cool so we could decorate them after we went swimming. I went to put Gabe in the car and when I came back in Neely had pulled one of the pans down and this is how I found her. I laughed out loud! She was sooo proud of herself!!
About 2 weeks ago I decided that I needed to take my little boy on a date. I decided on Worlds of Fun for 2 reasons...1. He's been asking to take me since my parents took him and 2. If I won the lottery I would pack my family and travel the world riding the BEST roller coasters (thankfully Gabe got this gene too!!!) We had such a GREAT day!!!! I loved riding the rides with him and watching him ride the ones I couldn't fit in!! He is a real thrill seeker!! Like I mentioned before he went with Julz and Pops about a month ago...he liked all the rides except the SEA DRAGON (the pirate ship). After our really long day of riding rides it was getting time for us to go pick up Neely (who we took to school), so I asked him what he wanted to ride last. He said the SEA DRAGON. I told him OK so we got on. At first he wasn't sure that he liked it, but after about three seconds he loved it...so we rode it again, and again, and again!!! After the fourth time I convinced him that we really did have to go get Neely, plus he needed a nap!! Needless to say it was a GREAT day! We're already planning our next date to Worlds of Fun!!
I'm sorry that it's taken me soooo very long to update everyone on our WONDERFUL trip to Marco Island, FL. We had such a GREAT time. Gabe was such a good boy. He loved the swiming pool and the slide. He also loved the Washington Redskin Cheerleaders that were staying at our hotel and shooting there calendar.... David didn't mind this either!!! Neely, on the other hand, wasn't her normal HAPPY self..she was pretty crabby, but I think that it was because she was so off her schedule. (She also ended up getting tubes 1 week after we got home!!) They also loved the beach. Neely's face the first time she stepped on the sand was a priceless face!!! We can't wait to go back next year!!!
