Here is a really GREAT picture of Gabe and Neely with Julz and Pops.  Gabe and Neely had such a WONDERFUL time when they came to KC to take care of them.  I'm so luck to have such wonderful parents!  Thanks Julz and Pops!!!

BOSTON 2009!!

We went on our trip to Boston, and we had a GREAT time!!!  My mom and daddy came up to KC to watch Gabe and Neely.  They got here on daddy's birthday so we had him a mini party.  We took him out to eat and then surprised him with a cookie cake!!  Then David and I left for Boston on Thursday morning.  We arrived and checked in our hotel, which was at the same place where the girl was murdered by the "craigs list killer".  I told David if they tried to put us on the 10th floor I would DEMAND a new room...we were on the 35th floor so I didn't have to make a scene.  After we checked in and changed into Red Sox gear from head to toe we went to Fenway and traded tickets for that night's game (we had 4 tickets to Friday's game).  We had really great seats, but of course I didn't bring my camera b/c I wasn't sure if we'd get tickets.  It was a great game because the Sox won!!!  On Friday we walked around the "habar" and ate lunch at Legal's Seafood (YUMMY!!) and shopped.  David was so sweet and just let me go into all the stores and never said anything.  Surprisingly I only bought a dress....for work!  After a LOT of walking we made our way back to the hotel to change and be on our way to Fenway!  This night my sweet friend Joni gave us tickets for the game.  We ended up sitting next to her and Todd's friend Leo.  Leo must know everyone at Fenway.  He took us up to the Budwieser Deck to watch some of the game...it was AWESOME!!!  After the game we went to the Baseball Tavern where Leo introduced us to the owner.  He took us straight to the roof top....we got booed b/c there was a really long line!!  Then we hung out with Steve Levy, from ESPN's Baseball Tonight and his fiance.  It was a lot of fun.  On Saturday David and I walked around Newbury and Boylston Streets and went into all the cute little boutiques.  We also saw Adam Sandler and his family.  He was a really normal looking guy that seemed to be having a fun day with his family.  I already was a big fan, but now I like him even more!!!  After a long day of walking around we went to the North End for dinner.  We went to Assiago's for yummy Italian.  After we ate we were so tired we just went back to our hotel and watched the game.  Then we came home on Sunday.  We really had a great time!  I can't wait til next year when we take Gabe and maybe Neely!!  

Omaha Zoo

Well, we took our summer trip to the Omaha Zoo!  It's such a GREAT zoo!  We went up on Thursday night so Gabe and Neely and I hung out in what they call Old Market.  It's a cute part of town with cute stores, cute places to eat and some grassy parks to play.  We had a fun time playing and they even let me shop for a second!!  We woke up early on Saturday and headed to the zoo.  Gabe LOVED it!  He was so good.  He walked the entire day without complaining that he was tired...he hardly even whined!  I was so proud of him.  Neely did good, too!  Here are some of the pictures that we took.  Again, if you are ever in the Omaha area take a trip to the zoo!

Day at the Park

THANK YOU GOD FOR THIS BEAUTIFUL DAY!!!  We went to church on Saturday night so we had ALL day today for NOTHING at all!  I mean that for once we didn't have anywhere we HAD to go or anything we HAD to do!  We woke up and I made french toast (it was really yummy!!) and then we got everyone ready to go for a walk to the park.  We played at the park for more than one hour, walked home, had lunch, took a nap and then played baseball, soccer and golf!  WHAT A DAY!!!!! Here are some of my favorite pictures for today!

Gabe had ONE of his girlfriends/best friends over the other day.  They had a really fun time.  I got a few pictures of them, which was a task because they rarely sat down for more than a second!
